The merino yarn selected for this piece comes from the Italian manufacturer Tollegno1900 -Yarn HARMONY Nm. 2/30 – 100% laine mérinos extrafine 19,5 microns.
The piece was knitted in-house, in Brussels.
→ INNOVATION & CHALLENGES
The challenge here was to visually replicate our signature gathering technique using a much heavier fabric than tulle, and most importantly, without using gathering threads or elastic. We wanted the piece to be made with as few panels as possible (usually, a signature gathered top is made of 26 pieces). Here, there are only 4. The gathers are created by the developed stitch, which constrains and holds the stitches from the inside.

Since the piece is made of 100% pure merino wool, sourced from a Woolmark-certified partner, it holds the Woolmark certification : Pure New Wool.
Certified Oeko-Tex Standard 100 wool.
