ABOUT US
Ester Manas is a Brussels-based independent fashion house founded in 2019. We design size-inclusive ready-to-wear (XS to 4XL) using deadstock and European materials. Our work sits at the intersection of craftsmanship, innovation and inclusivity. We produce runway collections, special projects and custom pieces while operating our own atelier in Brussels.

THE ROLE
We are looking for a Design Intern to join our studio and support the development of upcoming collections and special projects.
This is a hands-on position within a small team, offering direct exposure to all stages of the design process, from initial research and development to fittings, pattern adjustments, sample making and final production. You will work closely with the founders and design team, assisting both creative and technical aspects of collection development.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with collection research and development
• Participate in fittings and follow-up on modifications
• Assist with garment construction, sewing and sample development
• Help prepare runway shows, photoshoots and special projects
• Organise fabrics, trims, prototypes and studio materials
• Provide general support to the design and production team

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong interest in garment construction and pattern making
• Comfortable sewing and working directly on garments
• Curious, proactive and detail-oriented
• Able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Sensitive to the values and aesthetics of independent fashion
• Fluency in French required; English is a plus

STRUCTURE
Internship position based in Brussels.
Duration and schedule to be discussed based on profile and school requirements.
