This rare archival gown explores transparency and extreme texture. Part of a limited curation of one-of-a-kind couture pieces, it is constructed from two separate layers, designed as distinct pieces that interact to create depth, density, and organic movement.

The first layer is a base of sheer tulle, onto which mesh and yellow tulle ribbons are individually embroidered, each pre-overlocked and hand-gathered. This layer is made from dozens of meters of tulle, with each ribbon re-embroidered completely at random, producing organic variations of transparency and density.

The second layer is an eggshell-colored tulle gown, placed over the first to flatten and compress the gathers, creating a “scanned” effect across the surface. This layer is also pre-gathered with fixed ruching, adding additional material density and sculptural volume.

Together, the layers create a sculptural, organic silhouette, both airy and intensely worked.
